The Happy Food Dance offers full service catering for up to 100 guests, using only the best quality, fresh ingredients, nothing frozen, fresh vegetables and grains, and homemade stocks. The staff is good-looking and well heeled.
Pricing Policy
The Happy Food Dance Chefs endeavor to provide you with excellent value when you hire her to be your private party chef. We include a per-person price.
Here’s how we do it:
Food and beverage prices quoted are subject to Georgia State Sales Tax of 8%. Rental and miscellaneous charges are subject to Georgia State Sales Tax of 8%. Prices and taxes are subject to change.
On-Site Chef $45 per hour -3 hour min
Servers $18 per hour -3 hour min
Rentals (tables, chairs, linens, dishware, etc.)
Prices vary according to the needs of the event. Estimate between $4 and $6 per person for plates, silverware, glass ware and linen napkins. Linen and Skirting 1.00 per person
Paper Accessories (plates, cups, napkins, plastic ware) $0.50 per person
Quality Disposable Accessories (plates, cups, napkins, plastic ware) $1.25 per person
Environmentally Friendly Accessories (plates, cups, napkins, plastic ware) 2.00 per person
Travel Charge
$25 each way – local (up to 20 miles within the perimeter)
$50 each way – more than 20 miles outside the perimeter
- FOOD: This price will depend on the number of guests, food selections, and number of courses or buffet stations.
LABOR: Individual Service Staff are hired for a minimum of three hours. Staff rates will depend on the type of event and service needed. Gratuities are not included in the staff pricing; 18% gratuity requested.
RENTALS: Happy Food Dance Chef Service does not mark up your rental needs.
We charge the cost of rental and rental company delivery/pickup charges. Depending on the event, the rental of only glassware may run less than two dollars per person. Full service needs including glassware, china, flatware, linen, tables and seating may run from ten to twenty dollars and above per person.
Chef’s Policy
Initial Booking Fee: $250.00, This allows the chef to reserve the client’s date, plan the client’s menu, consult with the client up to 4 hours, purvey the client’s groceries, prep time, storage, etc. We request this booking fee within 7 days of service offer.
We typically request a nonrefundable deposit of 50% of services and food cost is required upon finalizing the menu for your function. Deposits are based on the number of guest and amount of labor required. All deposits are nonrefundable. Final Payment is due 24 hours prior to the scheduled function or upon arrival of the day of event as negotiated.
No payment shall be extended nor credit terms allowed.
All prices are subject to service charge and sales tax. Due to fluctuations in food and beverage cost, menu prices are subject to change.
The chef requires the number of guests be confirmed at least 5 days in advance of the function. If the number of guest attending the function is more than the number confirmed, you will be charged for the number of guest attending the function. If the number of guest attending the function is less than the number confirmed, you will be charged for the number confirmed.
Chef Dené Lynn, her management or staff will not be liable or responsible for the damage or loss of any merchandise or articled left at the venue prior to, during, or following your function.
